Dawson van het Uzzihof

Pictured here with new owner John Stokes.
Dawson or 'Dave' is a super talented and incredibly scopey son of Quickstar. He is going from strength to strength with John- watch out for them in 2012!

Beron

Hi just read about Beron on your sold sight and just thought you'd like to add a picture.
I have been having so much fun on him! He's amazing :D He absolutly loves cross country and went clear in the last compition I did! He's such a friendly horse, he follows me round the yard like a pet dog. Everyone I know loves him and thinks he's a very handsome boy.

Best wishes

Serena Bird xx

Hi Alex

I hope you and your horses are well.

Just wanted to let you know that me and Winsten
are working well together and getting stronger in
our relationship. We have just come back from
competing at Hickstead and although we had 4 faults,
I was pleased and I know that next year we will
be even better.

Keep you posted!

Take care x

Gemma
Boots

Hello Alex

You may remember me / us, we bought a pony called Boots from you just over a year ago. By accident I came across your web site and saw you had some details of him. I thought you might like an update.

He is very well loved and Chelsea is competing with him regularly doing and quite well. Just recently Cameron her 11 year old brother has also begun competing him.

Last year he qualified and competed at Scope, he also qualified and competed at the Blue Chip Championships again this year. He has already gained some qualifications for Scope this year, and will hopefully get some more. He did quite well at POYS two weeks ago coming 11th in a class of 130 starters over a 95cm / 1.00m course.

Recently he has been jumping junior foxhunter classes and i've included a couple of pictures of him jumping the 1.10 / 1.15 pony adventurer class at Addington Manor pony premier show in March. Unfortunately he had a pole down on what was a testing course - only 2 clears from about 30 starters.

He was also featured in the May edition of Absolute Horse Magazine in their feed and supplement write up, they were particularly attracted to his lovely condition.

Please feel free to update the info on your web site regarding him.

Regards
Darryl Skelton

Jumping successfully with Lucy Broadhead. He is based in Berkshire at Boomerang Farm, and has a great home.

Troubadour

troubadourstrazeele2
Troubadour compting with us at a show in France.
Troubs was sold to Corinne Collins who had great success on him in the Silver Tour 1.40m classes on him at the Arezzo tour in Italy this year. He has since been competing with Olympic rider Geoff Billington, jumping in the 1.50m classes in the International ring at Hickstead this year! He has now been sold on to Norway. A fabulous horse who gives his all to everyone who rides him. Sadly missed in our yard!

Auburn Cracker

cracker
Hi Alex,
Hope you are well.
We are doing very well with Cracker.
Maddie went to Pony Club today and he behaved superbly. It was a flat work lesson. Her teacher was really pleased with how well Mads rode him and we have booked up with a couple of good instructors that we know to get Maddie and Cracker going on the jumping.
She has got lots of confidence on him.
Most of her pc buddies want to buy Cracker!
He is settling better on the yard...but we still turn him out on his own!

Will keep you posted and send some pics when we have some!

Versace d'Amerloo
Hi Alex

Just thought I'd drop you a quick note to update you on Versace.

We're really starting to click now, having concentrated on training for the last four months. Hilary has really helped us at weekly lessons, although as you probably know she's been out of action for the last month. Hopefully, she'll be up and running very soon and we can pick up our training again. In the meantime, besides schooling him at home, I've taken V to a couple of clinics with Patsy Bartram and Alice Beasley, where he has been a star and they have both been very impressed.

The plan is to start competing him in January with a view to affiliating him BD at Easter. I'll keep you posted with our progress and hopefully be able to send you some pictures too.

Everybody who meets V just loves him (which of course he laps up !) and keeps telling me how wonderful he is (no pressure then !). He's a lovely boy to have around - he wants to be everyone's friend and takes most things in his stride. He was no trouble to clip, and now looks very smart, and he's getting more confident out hacking, though he still doesn't like to get his feet wet and he thinks every squirrel is out to get him!

Rest assured, Versace is enjoying a great life and I believe we can achieve some real success over the coming months.......

Hope all's well with you.

Best regards, Helen
